Each category is meticulously judged by a panel of industry experts, including both active and retired leaders, who bring unparalleled expertise and insight to the evaluation process.

AI administrative and operational automation solutions, such as ambient scribes, robotic process automation (RPA), and predictive analytics that target non-clinical, repetitive tasks to significantly reduce staff burnout and administrative costs. Key applications include automating documentation, optimizing patient flow and scheduling, and managing revenue cycles to enhance operational efficiency.
AI Patient Engagement and Communication
Companies providing AI tools focused on improving the patient experience and access to care. Including AI patient engagement solutions that utilize machine learning, automation, and predictive analytics to manage patient communication and care interactions, personalize outreach, predictive analytics, bi-directional EHR integration, and digital treatment plan management. These systems create intelligent patient journeys that improve both clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
AI Data, Analytics, and Infrastructure
Companies providing technologies that enable AI to function including the specialized AI chips to process computational workloads, the data centers that physically house those chips, the high-bandwidth networking that connects them at speed, the software that organizes data and the cloud platforms that make computing power accessible to developers and enterprises.

Organizations that bring together individuals or organizations working in specific segments of the healthcare industry. Associations should serve as a collective voice for their members to promote their advancement.

Companies providing equipment, supplies, technologies and care services to support patient care outside the hospital setting.

Companies or firms that attract patients, promote healthcare services and build brand awareness for hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers.

A company involved in the development, manufacturing and/or distribution of innovative devices, diagnostics and software solutions that improve patient care, diagnosis or treatment.
Newcomer – Startups
Companies in the initial stages of operations, working on a product or service designed to address a significant need within the healthcare industry.
Patient Experience
Organizations that improve, streamline, and personalize the interactions between patients and healthcare providers across the continuum of care—such as telehealth, patient portals, and mobile apps—These technologies enable digital access to care, facilitate communication, and enhance patient convenience.
Pharmacy
The pharmacy category recognizes excellence across the entire pharmaceutical ecosystem, from manufacturers who develop and produce life-saving medications to service companies that ensure patients receive them efficiently and safely.
Recruiting and Staffing
Companies or firms that specialize in recruiting qualified healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses or therapists to work for hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers.
Revenue Cycle Management
Firms that assist healthcare providers with managing the revenue cycle. Key offerings include technology solutions, regulatory compliance services and process optimization.
Rural Health
Organizations that provide specialized advisory services, technological solutions, and financial support for rural clinics and critical access hospitals, focusing on improving operational efficiency and expanding access to care.
Supply Chain
Companies that specialize in managing the flow of goods and materials essential for healthcare delivery. Core functions include sourcing and procurement, inventory management, logistics and distribution, technology solutions and regulatory compliance.
Sustainability
Companies or firms that assist healthcare providers in reducing their environmental impact through sustainability assessments, strategic planning and operational efficiency solutions.
Telehealth
Companies that provide virtual healthcare services including remote patient monitoring, virtual patient care visits and patient engagement tools.
Venture Capital and Investment
Financial institutions that specialize in investing in early-stage and/or high-growth companies within the healthcare industry. They provide companies with the capital needed to develop and commercialize new products, technologies and services.
JUDGING PROCESS
Nominations are reviewed and judged by a panel of industry experts, based on assessment of quantifiable results measures, outcomes, who bring expertise and insight to the evaluation process. Judges assess submissions based on predefined criteria:
1. Quality: Excellence in core offerings such as AI algorithms, educational programs and cybersecurity solutions.
2. Outcomes: Measurable results like improved patient outcomes, increased member engagement and reduced healthcare fraud.
3. Efficiency: Cost-effectiveness, streamlined processes and productivity maximization.
4. Customer Focus: Satisfaction for associations, client success for consultants and positive user experience for IT systems.
5. Innovation: Embracing new ideas and technologies to improve healthcare delivery.

Eligibility
Entry is open to organizations that are healthcare suppliers, vendor and partners.
Dates for submitted work
All data and materials considered for any category must represent the period between Jan. 1, 2025 and July 1, 2026 to be eligible.
Entry information
All information included should be publishable by the time the winners are announced in January 2027. Any information noted as “not for public” or “off the record” will not factor into the judges' evaluation.
Judges reserve the right to award organizations for a category other than the category selected upon submission. Judges also reserve the right to add or omit categories if necessary based on the quality of entries received.
Final deadline
The final deadline for entries is Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
